I purchased a i730 from Nextel about a month ago. I tried Mobil locator but it was not very accurate. So I downloaded the accutracking software using the mobile manager and signed up for the unlimited data pass about two weeks ago. The accutracking software appears to working on the phone, I get the position acquired message and all of the data is there. However I am unable to track the position on the accutracking website. I have uninstalled accutracking software and re installed it. but still no luck. Is there something I am missing?
What error message you see on the phone screen? If it says "cannot connect", you should call Nextel to check your data plan. I am not sure your "unlimited data pass" plan but here is the link to the plan.
It does not give me an error code. All of the information shows up on the screen like it should be working. I was getting a cannot connect before they got the Unlimited Data Access Plan set up. Now it appears to be OK.. at least from the i730 display
