Nextel Data Only Plans/Shared Data Plans?

Does anyone have experience signing up with a Nextel Data only plan with no voice? I saw on their developer's website a developer plan for $17.99 for 5mb but that is more than I would need unless it can be shared with multiple phones. I would like to set up multiple phones so has anyone been able to order a SHARED data only plan? The Nextel reps are unhelpful.

There is no shared data plan. 17.99 is a great deal!

Per a post on the Nextel Developers site, shared plans do exist. I don't know the specifics, like if there is a minimum number of phones required etc. See http://developer.nextel.com/portal/gene ... 0&forum=10
You'll need to be a member to view the forum, but it's free to sign up. If once you get signed up, the link doesn't work, then go to the KNOWHOW section, and click on the J2ME forum. From there search for "shared".

if all phones/devices are on the same account, the Data plans share with like data plans.

i.e. 10 phones with 1MB Total Connect (data access) will share with the other phones that have a 1MB plan.

a 5 MB plan thrown into the mix would be alone, and would not share.
