Just need a liiiitle bit more battery time!

Hello all -

I bought an i425i last night and installed AccuTracker. I'm very impressed! I'm in Manhattan where it's not so easy to get a GPS fix, but this system seems to do fairly well with tower location and gps when it can get it. Close enough for my purposes.

The problem is that I need just a bit more battery time. I need the phone to work for 11 hours at a stretch, never more or less. Because of the nature of my tracking goal, it's VERY easy for me to recharge the phone each night. I like the idea of the 6 week battery with motion detection, but I really just want a bit more time and am hoping to find a less expensive alternative.

Is there ANYTHING that can help extend battery life? Are there higher MAH batteries that can be purchased without the motion detection or hardware mods? External batteries? Portable mini-usb power sources? Any ideas much appreciated!

Sure; theres lots you can do. If you don't want to go with a full motion unit; we can add a large capacity external battery and charger.

FYI This unit worked really well for me and is in perfect condition. But now I'm done with it so if anyone is in the market, it's for sale!
