Google Earth Tracking - showing routes/fix decluttering

1. Is there a way to declutter fixes which are in close proximity? For example, car parked at house may show 30 fixes.

2. Is there a way to have the path/route (at least the assumed path/route) show on GE, rather than just going fix by fix?

I am using i425 - set to 3 min intervals

For 1, you can enable "Smart Sending" option on the phone.
We are about to add the Google Network Link that shows the past 100 points. Please stay tuned and it should be out in next week or two.

Does Smart Sending have to be enabled each time phone is turned on/program started or does it stay set as a default?

Will the update be able to depict the route of travel (a line or something) based on the uploaded GPS fixes? Or is that a GE issue? I am assuming it is possible, as I have seen other units that provide an overview of the route, including direction of travel. If so, do you know how to get the route taken to show in GE?

BTW - this is more fun than a barrel full of monkeys!

Smart sending settings will be remembered and survive the phone reboots.

Showing the line is a GE issue. As I checked, it only displays lines for the routes you get from the "A to B Directions", not for discrete pushpins. I might be wrong but you can play with GE and figure out more.

Nice feature. You can right-click on the link in GM and view properties, then set it to auto update every x minutes!

Question: does this only show GPS fixes? (I assume so). I am also having big cluttering problems and when my tracker is stationery I get gps fixes from all over teh surrounding area. Not too bad, but it's screwing up my pretty line that shows the routes!!

It shows all data including tower locations if phone reports them (right now only Motorola ixxx phones report tower locations). To show GPS fix only, just disable the "Cell Tower Fix" option in AccuTracking on the phone.
