Having a mental breakdown - How do you get it to run

OK, I got the 425. All seems to work fine. However when I try to get out of the Accutracking function on the cell phone and go back to the regular Boost Mobile screen - (I want to do this because then I can lock the keys and it won't get bumped) it says suspending application ACCUTRACK.

It seems that going away from the Accutrack screen stops the application from working. Is this right? It will not run in the background?

If it will not run in the background, how do I leave it in ACCUTRACK and lock the keys so they do not get bumped?

My daughter ran away, and at least we have her back living with my son and his wife, however, we have let her have our car, so she can get back and forth to school and finish her senior year. However, the good lord only knows when she might take off for parts unknown with our car, and I want to be able to have the peace of mind in knowing I can locate her if she does.
