Verizon Service with Blackberry phones

The site is somewhat vague regarding Verizon as a service provider. I have a customer that is interested in the service. They have 5 Blackberry 8703 phones. They have Verizon as a customer. Will this service work with them? Do they need to move away from Verizon? Any help would be appreciated.

No it won't work. Blackberries from Verizon have a slightly modified firmware which blocks GPS access by 3rd party applications.

Does verizon offer any phone that will work?

Nope; Verizon blocks all 3rd party access to their GPS units... If you had an external GPS unit - you might be able to get it work - but not with the internal crippled unit.
