I was wondering if anyone knows if the geofence is commonly unreliable. I have set my fence for a parking lot and gave it 1050 feet range. I have yet to recieve a SMS. Everything is filled out completely on the Accounts page and on the Fence Managing Page.
The fence was set by the current tracking status of the phone by selecting set fence. It automatically filled in the coordinates. I just named it and set the feet.
When then the phone crosses the parameter and sists there all day I never receive a notice of arrival. When the phone leaves the parameter I never receive notifcation that it left.
Any help would be appreciated.
GeoFence Not Working
From what you described, it's very likely your SMS email address was entered incorrectly or it's not working, because obviously the geofence was correctly triggered since you can see the alert history online.
You should test your SMS email by sending a test message from your other regular email address and see if you can receive the message on the phone. Also make sure you have the 'SMS' checkbox checked in your account page for the 'Alert Preference' option.
