I've been loving this device but have been receiving Geofence alerts when the car (ie, phone) is safely tucked in the garage.
I got about 8 of them this weekend.
This really takes the confidence out of depending on these alerts for theft detection.
Anything that can be done about this?
I have the i415.
Thanks,
Joe
Erroneous Geofence Alerts
Do you have some really small fences? They can be easily triggered by the fluctuation of GPS signals. Similar topics earlier:

Make sure your fence radius is at least 500 feet.

First off, thanks once again for the great support here!
The fence I set was at 500 feet, so it wasn't exactly small.
I pulled up the tracking history and it shows the location bouncing around quite a bit (although stationary), probably all within the 500 foot radius.
But I'll reset it to 700 feet and see if that improves it.
Thanks,
Joe

Alerts At 700 Ft.
700 Ft improves it, i.e., reduces the number of Alerts, but does not stop them. Sometimes at 3:00 am am I get them. Solution: Get another low cost phone capability (boostmobile) and put in in the same car. If you get an Alert from each phone you know the car moved. This is a great program but sometimes it just goes wild with the reporting of Alerts. I still love it!
