i265 No Connection Problem

Post by Turk6177 »

I have been through all of the i265 help postings. I am having a similar connection problem in which the phones are getting GPS data properly, but not being able to connect to Accu Tracking to transmit the data to make the GPS points viewable on the website maps. After a period of time the phone reads that it can not connect. We have four i88 phones that work perfectly with Accu Tracking. Nextel assured me that they set up the packages on the i265 phones identically as the i88's are set up. They told me the phones are set up with the Total Connect Package. Is there a way to check to see if the Total Connect Package is working? I went to the website listed in the FAQ's but it no longer lets you download that browser. Anyone have any ideas? We have an identical i265 phone in San Diego that is working fine. I have 5 here that aren't.

how long has it been since the total connect plan has been added?

Also, for troubleshooting purposes, have you tried any other type of packet-data required java program like telenav or airim or something like that?

I ran Telenav with a false pin # and tele number. This should have sufficed to send packet data to Telenav enabling Telenav to inform me that I did not have an account. I got a message saying that it could not connect to the server. I assume this means it is a Nextel Total Connect Package problem. When I spoke with tier 2 support, the tech told me that the phones services were set up identically as the i88's that we already have working. ???? I think my Telenav test tells me that it is a Nextel problem, no? Any other suggestions? I had Nextel pull a ticket to try to get to the bottom of this.

ok, so its probably a problem with.... whats this thing called.

um. are you sure you have the most current versions of this program, the proper version, try a delete and re-install. make sure you typed in the user id # correctly.

i'll think of more when i get some sleep
