Samsung SPH-A660

Is the Samsung SPH-A660 phone supported by AccuTracking? It is a java enabled phone and has gps/location, so I don't see why it wouldn't be supported....

It's E911 GPS, not open to 3rd party programs. Only phone carrier has access.

You sure? Upon reviewing my user guide, I found the following: "Your phone is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with location-based services that may be available in the future. The Location feature allows the network to detect your position. Turning Location off will hide your location from everyone except 911." That sounds to me like this phone is designed to work with things like AccuTracking.

Well, even if it's not E911-only, my 2nd claim still holds true for now. I don't see the open API to their GPS hardware. There's simply no way to interface with it. However, they may decide to publish the interface some time.
