HotGPS and GPS accuracy reduced significantly

I know I posted something similar to this before, but I got another phone (i450) to see how much better it is than the i415. It is way faster at getting a location than the i415. Anyways, I noticed that when I turn HotGPS on the accuracy of my location is usually about 200-300 feet away from where I actually am, while with HotGPS turned off it only about 6-10 feet away from where I actually am.

I tested on an i415 and didn't observe such thing. I know what HotGPS does is just acquiring positions as regular acquisition, only doing that in shorter intervals like every 10 seconds to keep the GPS chipset from cooling down. These data should have the same precision as regular fix.
