I have a few questions:
>>There is coverage in my area, but still the phone will not send data, I have rebooted it many times, and it has the IP so it should work, what am I doing wtrong?( It is in a car).
>>If I enable Cell Tower Fix, will that only give me the cell tower info or it will keep on giving me the GPS Fix as well?
>>How much (Max) can you set the Cache value to?
>>It says on the screen that "Fixed", but even on pressing the Refresh Button, it does not send out the data, Why?
>>When it does get to a place that it can send data, how long does it take to transmit the cached records?
>>I am in Houston, the Nextel shows excellent coverage, then why does it not send data.... it says at times... "Cant Connect"...???

I am almost sure your data plan is not working properly if you never see data online and see "cant connect" on the phone.

It'll send both:

I believe it's 9999 now but this shouldn't be set too high to eat all your phone memory.

It'll send cache instantly but one by one, 3 seconds between each sending.

Please check your data plan:

I have been reading the forum, does the i415 have issues...???
Q: Do you also see the Cell tower fix on the web while tracking???
Q: Since I checked the phone, it is showing the IP, does it still mean there could be some issues with the data plan???
Q: I dont have the phone on me, I read some place that you can call a number and get the data plan shut and restarted, will I have to do anything on the phone at that time for this to start working???
Q: On the recharge issue, If I recharge with you, do you take care of the Boost recharge as well, ???
Q: How else do I check if the data plan is working, the link you give is only to reboost the account, how do we check how much is the balance???
Q: If I keep the interval between sends to 1 min, will it cost more????
Q: will the Low Cell signal option help??
Thanks for helping, but I would like help for this to really work properly...

i415 used to have problem of "hanging after constantly running for more than 2 weeks in poor coverage area" but that has been solved since v3.2.6.

Yes.

Showing IP doesn't mean the plan is working properly. A better way is to ask Boost Mobile to deactivate the plan and reactivate it. You'll need to reboot the phone.

No:

narcotics3 wrote:

No because the data plan is unlimited.

No. "Low Cell Signal" is for the hanging problem, not for the "cant connect" problem, which is related to data plan.

Can you give the number where I can call and talk to the rep to deactivate and reactivate the plan.
Also, will I loose any money or minutes by doing this?
Also right now the indicators on the site have both 4 bars in the Sat & Tower, the phone is set to transmit at 1 Min intervals, so why is the last transmit about 45 mins ago???
Looks like it has its own sweet will to send out the data when it wishes...
I am sure this can be fixed, please help
Thanks.

So you already saw your position online. That means your data plan works. You don't have to "deactivate and reactivate" (in case you need, the number is 1-888-BOOST-4U).
The data plan is a flat rate of 35 cents per day.
Last position being 45 minutes ago could mean you have "Smart Sending" enabled on the phone:
http://support.accutracking.com/kb/article/000018 or in the past 45 minutes the phone failed to acquire your position (because poor view of the sky) or failed to send data due to poor network connection.

I just checked, smart sending is not ON...
Cell Tower is enabled, Hot GPS is enabled... but still the last transmission was 2 hrs ago....

I have looked the link that you provided...
Thanks for the quick reply, but what are these things:
Auto client refresh
Customizable refresh rates
Auto zoom to phones after refresh
Show bubble pop up after refresh
which are in Package 2
