Calling Nextel to Complain about Poor Tracking Coverage

I spoke with a current Accutracking customer who told me that about a week ago he started having problems tracking his phones. He said the coverage is very spotty. We are having a similar problem.
We are using a simple GPS tracking application. Our application isn't nearly as cool as Accutracking. Starting around August 12th the tracking performance degraded significantly. The phones are reporting much, much less data than before. Also, the phones have begun to display an unusual error message that says "assist data unavailable."
It seems to me that that spotty tracking may be a result of poor GPS reception which may be a result of Nextel towers not providing assistance. In other words, the "A" portion of A-GPS (Assisted GPS) appears to be not working properly.
It seems that the best thing to do is call Nextel Wireless Web and let them know about this problem. Their phone number is (866) 265-8305. It is best to get past level 1 support to level 2 support and past level 2 support level 3 support (which they call the help desk).
The key is to harp on the fact that until recently your phone used to track much better than it does now. But that it currently still tracks.
