You just need a better view of the sky.

Im getting the same message. It listed a phone number to call to purchase a satelite location list, I clicked right thru it...could this just be spam? scam? or both? I"m having problems with my phone too where even if I get a good view of the sky I get no satelites, my posting tracks sporadically, I posted yesterday about possibly it being the season or the position of the satelites and now I read this post...interesting...

Your issue is different from the OP's. The answer to the "satellite data outdated" message: http://support.accutracking.com/kb/article/000050
To troubleshoot the sporadical tracking, please have the phone in hands and watch the status message (the 2nd line) on the AccuTracking main screen on the phone:

1) if you see "Cant connect": http://support.accutracking.com/kb/article/000024
2) if you see "No fix. Waiting...": http://support.accutracking.com/kb/article/000049

Here is the exact message I have received twice now: "Satelite Data is outdated, call 800-569-2532 to buy" continue yes or no. Of course I haven't call the number since I don't know what it is, if anyone else has received this message please let me know if its legit or not, I think its spam personally.

I'm getting the message every single time I reboot the phone now. The strange thing is that the phone is not fixing to satelites the way it used to any longer. It gets a lock only every once in a while now, I never know when its hunged or its just not locking now. I would think Boost/Nextel would know about this, unless is some sort of cell phone virus which is not part of Boost/Nextel.

Try choosing "YES" to dismiss the message.

I am using a Boost Mobile i415.
I do not have Accutracking on my phone (i am using Mologogo).
I have the same message that you do...
So the problem is more on the Motorola side or Boost side.
