Does the user of the phone know him/her are being tracked :?:
If so is there a way to ensure the tracking program?s seclusion :?:

Also is there a good web source to help a person write his own GPS cell phone apps? :D

Not unless he goes to the java apps screen, then clicks on suspended apps, and sees that the program is running.

Not that we have found so far.... The only way that I know of that might work is using the non-java (and non-free) NEXTEL locating service "Mobile Locator"

Yes, and he has land in Florida for sale too... :) ..... Truthfully I have not found any such animal. (even though I have looked)

Register on the Nextel developers site http://developer.nextel.com and check out this manual. It has all the goodies for accessing the GPS capabilities on the i88s.

Can anyone sign up for the Nextel devloper and get free data? I am sorry if this is a silly question but I read about it and it looks like I can. I am not a developer but would love free data.
