This is probably a first for Accutracking(?). I have been involved with a project that embeds cellphones, running Accutracking, into art objects. The project is part of the ZeroOne electronics art festival starting in San Jose, CA, this coming weekend.
The objects are life-size cutouts depicting Silicon Valley pioneers, all thumbing a ride to various destinations in the valley. They will be abandoned in various places (in the Bay Area, Boston and Iowa) over the coming days, with signs attached asking for a ride toward their final destinations. Each cutout has an i415 in it and you can follow their progress on our web page.
See http://www.ylem.org/Hitchhikers for the details. Technical stuff, likely to be of interest to folks here, is at http://www.ylem.org/Hitchhikers/Credits.html.
