GPS won't fix

Do I have a bad phone?
"No fix" message on the phone means the phone needs a better view of the sky for more satellite to get a GPS fix. Just hold the phone for a few minutes in the open area with a good view of the sky till the phone screen reads "Sent TIMESTAMP". Usually the first fix is the toughest to get and take longer time than the following fix.
