Starting phone when hard wired to car?

Is there a way to start the program without pushing the on/off switch when hard wired to a car? When the car is turned on the phone initially goes into the charge mode and has to be manually turned on.
Or do I have to wire it someplace that is always hot? Thanks,

What I need is a way to have the phone power up and not go into charge mode when connected to a car charger hard wired into the cars electrical system.

Sorry, I saw you ask

"Is there a way to start the program without pushing the on/off switch when hard wired to a car"

And if you hard wire to the car (to a constant power source), then the "go into charge mode" will not be an issue

Thanks, I was hopeing I could wire it to an ignition source so it would turn on and off with the ignition I guess with the amount of batt draw it would not hurt to have it direct to constant power. Thanks again.

I sure would not worry about turning it off... I'll bet a cell phone would run for 6 months on a good car battery.... lol
