I'm wondering if anyone eles has this problem.I have a phone I use just for tracking in the car.It is hot wired in for convience. However most of the time it tracks fine but then it will stop I have to turn it off then back on to make it work again. It always starts out skipping the time then finally stops.Like right now it tracks perfectly while it is sitting but as soon as the car moves it stalls untill the next stop of a period of time As long as the car sits it is sending the location fine. Then locks up again when in motion.Resetting is about the only way to fix this.I have to do this about every 2 weeks Any suggestions? Thanks
Same here

If you browse the postings you will find this to be a common thread among a lot of us. I have it setup the same as yours and have to reset every 1 or 2 weeks, its a pain when the phone is in a location not easily accesible. Its the nature of the product right now, i'm hoping they can work some more on the software and they can fix the bugs. Its free so we can't complain and when it works it rocks.

So far it seems this issue is only on i415 phones. We are trying to duplicate it to understand and pinpoint the problem but there's no findings so far due to various conditions and long recurring time.

Unfortunately the I415 phone seems to be the most popular phone for accutracking due to its cost and ruggedness, its a tough little phone compared to the i450 flip phone more or less for actually talking on it plus the i450 is white and more expensive. I really hope you guys can work out the bugs if its a phone issue I can help duplicate the problem. Mine dies also every 1 or 2 weeks. I can load a debuggin app or whatever you need me to assist on this.
Thanks Support guys for looking into this.

Thanks guys for the input from the other guests and the support group.I was beging to think maybe I was the only one with this problem and it was the phone or something. I feel a bit better now. When it does its stall thing on the face it always says "boost". I turn it off for a min then back on and its fine for awile again. yes about 2 weeks. It never does it all at once just starts skipping more and more before nothing at all. I hope you can figure it out also As other than that like the other guest said its a great little tool. Thanks again folks for your input.

Mine always stalls on the "Sending Data" part...
like for instance right now, my i415 hasn't updated accutrack since 4:30 this morning... has been parked all night, i get excellent signal from where it is sitting, yet the phone just locks up requiring a power cycle....
its such a pain in the ass too because i have the phone behind some panels and its a pain to have to remove them to get to the phone just to simply reset...
trying to combat this, i bought a universal female cig plug from radioshack, have the phone and its car charger plugged in, and i ran a constant powered wire from where the phone is hidden to a power source that i have access to...
so i figured i'd pull the fuse, let the phone die while running on the battery, then put the fuse back in, making the phone power up and automatically start Accutracking......
sounded like a great plan and all, but figuring out when the battery died has been a problem....

You'll have to uninstall the old version on the phone and reinstall this version.
Note: This upgrade is optional. If you don't experience problems in your area, the current version should work just fine.

I installed this new version and it seems that you have to restart the phone after you uninstall and reinstall the new app. It woudn't track until I restarted the phone. Time starts today and we'll see if the tracking lasts more than a week or so. Thank you ATsupport guys for releasing this new version.

This problem is not just on the 415... I've had the same problem on the i710 for several months now. Will the download for the i415 work for me?

Yes. That'll work on i7xx series too.
