Are there plans to provide correction for GPS Drift?

The drift is from the hardware (GPS chipset) and there's no easy way to fight agaist it. However, the "smart sending" option could help reducing some drifting noises.

Look at the drift here:

example

You can see some obvious drift on some streets. Shes either about 50 feet south of the street she was on, or about 20 feet east of it. (ignoring the parts where it didnt send data, of course)

Primary reason for the drift was her phone was buried in her purse on the floorboards of the car, that was also the reason it couldnt locate a gps fix during most of the trip.

Putting the phone GPS up (battery door facing up, usually) on the dashboard or a flat surface where it can see up will correct for most of the drift.

Edit: ok, so you cant see the example. But I described the drift so use your imagination, ok?
