Stuck in Sending?

Hi there,
15 days ago, my I88s just quit transmitting locations, in mid-drive. I changed nothing that I know of, but when I look on the phone, it's always "sending." All the other functions on the phone, including browser, appear to work. So is my accutracking setup:
http://www.accutracking.com/loc.php?id= ... a81&type=1
Anyone have any thought why? I even re-downloaded the applet and re-installed, no change ....

Looks like your Total Connect Plan (now called Data Access Plan) is gone.

One would think. According to Nextel, it's still there. How can I find out if it's the plan or the phone?
UPDATE - called NEXTEL again, they made me do a master reset and restart everything else. Claim the data access plan is OK, but the phone is still stuck in sending. Eventually it will say "Cannot connect."
I deleted the client and created a new one with a new tag - still nothing.
Ideas?

One test application you can use to verify your Nextel Data Access Plan:
Telnet & SSH client.
Also, look for an icon with the letters 'IP' inside on the top of the i88s idle screen. It should be there. Then press "Menu", select "My Info" => "Carrier IP", press "View". You should see an IP number there. Call Nextel, ask them to ping this IP, then watch your phone's 'IP' icon on the top right corner of the screen, it should blink when the IP is pinged.

i think you should be able to ping it yourself.

Only if your phone has a public IP.

you're right. Didnt think of that.
If your phone has an IP that starts with 10, you cannot ping it. If it starts with something else, you can.
