Can iDEN users outside the USA benefit from your service if their phones
and carriers are to your specification?
and are your maps world wide?

				WOWEEE
I answered my own question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It works in ISRAEL with Amigo/MIRS
Just upload the Java applet and run it (no need to change or choose settings as on NEXTEL network)
Any GPS enabled iDEN phone with internet service enabled will work
The only small drawback is the limited resolution of the MAPQUEST
maps (you cant get down to street level) But in the meantime good enough

I am happy to hear that too because we never tested outside of US and you are the first one reporting it works. Please feel free to share your setup tips in the forum with other oversea users that may need your help.

There is no problem at all
at least for the I730
as long as the phone is internet enabled
Just D/L the Java applet
enter your code and start tracking
Again only drawback is map resolution (no street level map (MAPQUEST))
Maybe you could link to other mapping service that is world wide?
Ill try to find an Israeli mapping service and send u link
ALSO could you give option to see speed in KM/HR
Thanks!

Not sure about the phone carriers and plans outside US, just as a tip:
Call your phone provider asking for 'the service that gives the phone a private/public IP'.

After you install it you run the Java applet
you must then enter your "Tracker ID"
From your note it is not clear if you did

"Full internet service" may just be WAP. You need Total Connect, or Packetstream Gold.

Results of negociating with nextel arg. are bad news, no plans for data, no total connect, no posibilities to work.
So guy's, political commerce in my country are not considering us.
Accutracking only could work like a gps app without connectivity.
I'm so worry, can't be happy.
