I was wondering if gps tracking will work after placing phone underneath vehicle (in protective case ofcourse ). I'm currently using trimtrac device in such way and it works most of the time. Thanks

Make sure you don't put it in a metal box. Under the hood probably isn't the best place because of the metal and the heat. If you were to put it inside a plastic bumper cover or the like you should get some GPS. You might also get satisfactory results putting it in the glovebox or in a seat pocket.

Or buy a convertable, and put it inside....
