Once I get a Nextel phone all I would have to do is download the software that you provide and register. I wait for a confirmation e-mail from you and I can start tracking the phone for free as much as I want?

Make sure you get the "Nextel Total Connect" plan when getting the phone. That plan costs you about $10 per month for 1M data. So don't overuse your bandwidth. See our FAQ page for more info.

Does Nextel offer the same tracking capability with their mobile locator?
Do you have alerts available for the tracking if the phone is not where it is supposed to be at? Or is it strictly tracking when you check the location of the phone?

NEXTEL's Mobile Locator is a distant competitor (IMHO)
You can setup geofence alerts so that you are notified if someone enters or exits a pre-defined area.

Competitor???

I would not even call Nextel Mobile Locator a competitor. Bmack...
