Notice for Xfinity Users: App Appearing Offline / ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Post by ATSupport »

We’ve identified an issue affecting some users on Xfinity Internet with Advanced Security enabled:
  • The mobile app appears offline
  • Web browsers show ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
This is a false positive from Xfinity’s Advanced Security system.

Quick Workaround (Mobile App)
If you’re using the app on your phone:
Turn off Wi‑Fi and use your cellular data instead.
This bypasses Xfinity’s network filter and allows the app to connect normally.

Permanent Fix (Xfinity Users)
You can disable Xfinity Advanced Security by following the instructions near the bottom of this official Xfinity page:
https://www.xfinity.com/support/article ... h-xfi-faqs

Once Advanced Security is turned off, our website and app should work normally again.

Help Us Get This Resolved
Please report this false block to Xfinity so they can correct it (enter URL https://secure.accutracking.com in the form):

If you continue to experience problems after trying the steps above, feel free to contact us and we’ll help you out.
