[7/11/2019] TK373 SIM Data Network Outage

There is a Managed SIM data network outage starting at about 10:00AM EDT 7/11/2019.

This affected the TK372/TK373 users only. If you have your own SIM card, you are not affected.

The SIM provider network engineers are working on the issue and this thread will be updated for latest status.

The notification from the SIM network operator:
Network Outage Notification Update

We have been alerted to a service degradation on mobile signalling. Customers may experience intermittent difficulties attaching to roamed networks (Worldwide).

Description: Network engineers have identified root cause of issue - corrective steps have now been taken to reduce signalling congestion and enable service recovery.
Status: Ongoing
Time: 10:00AM EDT 7/11/2019
Network Impact: Yes
Resolution Time: TBD
Total Duration: TBD

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, we will provide a full Root Cause Analysis on the cause, any corrective and future preventative measures that will be put in place once our network partner provides the details.

Update: network issue has been resolved by the SIM provider.
If your tracker is not online updating, please contact our support for assistance. We apologize for the issue.

Update from the SIM provider:
Network Outage Notification Update

Our system is showing that full service has resumed. However, the network is still running some tests. If you are still experiencing any connectivity issues, please reach out as soon as possible. We expect all testing to be complete within the next two hours. As per the above, this testing shouldn't impact service.
