I have 11 units. It only allows me to buy 2 per customer. How do I get more sims. I tried on best buy and it only allows 1.

Lastly, the name-calling and expletives are emotional responses and unecessary.
Good Luck !

Does it make me a bad person if I really want to correct your grammar?

Ting has 2 types of SIM cards, GSM and CDMA. Their GSM SIM card will work with TK306A which is a GSM device.
No need to reconfigure the tracker's APN setting.

However, Ting's monthly plan is not so attractive. You'll need to go with their "Level S" plan for $12/month.

I have a TK103A? Do I need a new SIM? (Tried to include a link, but it won't let me).

They're offering a $75 credit which would make it a little more attractive. For a while, at least.

If your TK103A has a PTEL SIM, i.e. if you have a PTEL account, then yes you need a new SIM.
Otherwise you are fine.

I've switched to US Mobile.

It looks like US Mobile charges a $2/month fee, plus $2/month per feature subject to limits (text, data). The initial monthly cost would be $6 as the $2 + $2 text + $2 data. However, once I've configured the tracker using SMS commands during the first month, couldn't I just do data only the following months, making the rate $4/month? At 100 mb a month, the tracker could report as often as every 20 seconds and include OBD data, right?

Or does accutracking.com rely on some SMS functionality?

You are right. No text is needed after initial configuration but you might need text for troubleshooting in case tracking stopped.
Data is the only required plan for tracking to work. Our site doesn't rely on SMS therefore you can just pay $4/month for data and line fee.

I installed 2 H20 yesterday, 24 hours ago into my car trackers. I put $10 on each for 90 days. In less than 24 hours they each have used $1 so far,...so that prorated would be $30 per month per unit. That is too expensive compared to PTEL. Any other options?

That's probably because lots of texts were used to configure the tracker. Text rate is $0.05/text. And if you do voice surveillance as well, the voice rate is $0.05/minute.
Other than that, if you do tracking only, $10 is more than enough for 3 months because H2O data rate is $0.10/MB and the tracker would use only 20~30MB per month which is less than $3.

Sorry! I understand it's annoying but we might keep it there for a few more days. Some users don't login or track regularly and they are not yet aware of the PTEL shutdown.
