Blackberry 8130 Not staying connected.

We are testing the 8130 with the Accutracking software and having issues when the phone is inside a building for any length of time. The software tracks fine when outside and in a car but when you take the phone inside it seems the GPS chip can't find the satellites and shuts down.... according to Blackberry to conserve battery. When we take the phone back outside it takes user intervention to the GPS running again.
Getting the GPS started seems odd to but I can't find any other way to start it. We have to go to the Blackberry map program and click on "Start GPS Navigation" to start tracking. Is there another way to start the tracking? Accutracking is running at start up and as soon as we "start GPS Navigation" it always starts tracking. We do the same thing to get it started when it's been inside for any length of time. Any help would be great as we want to eliminate the user intervention.
