PHONE IS IN THE TRUNK AND IT KEEPS FREEZING ON A LOCATION

IT DOESNT REALLY TRACK THAT GOOD IT DID THE FIRST DAY I GOT IT AND ITS IN THE SAME SPOT IN THE TRUNK NOW IT NOT READING LOCATION ONCE CAR LEAVES 
Can you be more specific on "freezing"? What does the screen say when its not working? Does it ever work? Does it work when they stop and just not when they move? Is it battery powered? Is the battery charged up all the way?
