You could have one of our special boards installed - it keeps the phone reset and all options working well.

Usually your issue is caused by the GPS signal being covered up - in a garage, bad signal area, etc. Once the GPS gets blocked out for an extended period of time - the only way to fix is a reset... Not easy if the phone is hidden.

In cities, even with a good *cell* reception, you would still have a poor *GPS* reception due to the skyscrapers around. That's why the phone failed GPS acquisition then tried cell tower fix instead.

well i believe it can be caused by text messages...any way to prevent text messages from coming in with an i415 and boost mobile service??? and also disable incoming calls?

Errant text messages, 2-ways, alerts, wrong numbers - all of those can cause an issue. There is no way to block text messages and incoming phone calls on an easy scale. Some people have forwarded their calls to another number - and that will stop the issue of the incoming calls - but you have to pay for calls that you forward. And Boost won't turn off text messaging.

Our motion board helps to keep those errors cleared out - by minimizing the on time - and also a fresh reboot upon startup - in case you had an errant message in the que.

Hope that helps.
