I have a boost i425 installed in my car, what would cause it not to update it’s position for an hour when the vehicle was moving. It has worked perfect until now?

Well; If it was without GPS coverage for a long while - it will take a LONG LONG time to get a position fix again.
If you have access to the phone, power it off, and back on - see if that fixes it.

Try the reset and advise. There is a window of time where if the GPS is blocked for an extended period of time (under ground, parking ramp, garage, etc.) that will cause the unit to start searching for the satellites - and it will actually take so long that it can't lock - and it starts a loop back and forth.
If the reset helped, that could have been the issue.
That is one of the features of our special board - it keeps the unit running a fresh application of AccuTracking, it clears off the messages that can lock the phone up (voice mail, text, etc), and extends the life of the battery.
Let me know how the reset works out.
