I am currently on an AT&T plan and happy with coverage in my area. What phones will work with the Accu system?

From what I see it's only the Blackberry's, I guess the iDem's won't work.

I'm having a hard time justifying a Blackberry for a 12 year old.

Any thoughts?

What part of Maine are you in - what is the zip code? You can check the online map for iDEN coverage and see if it works for you - that would be the cheapest way.

Without iDEN coverage for Nextel, it starts to add up...
