Im not sure if this is a setting issue with the phone, or a technical issue/default. My i425 tracks fine but turns off randomly, or will not start sometimes unless I remove the battery. Has anyone else had this issue?

You can try to reinstall the software...but I think you have a defective phone!

Maybe, check the battery voltage..charger output.
