problem with downloading jar+jad files to i730

Post by Guest »

Can someone pls help me, I downloaded the latest version of accutracking for i730. I'm using USB cable to connect to the phone with the Java Application Loader Lite. I can see the applications that already exist on the phone(i.e I can connect successfully to the phone). However when I select the accutracking jad or jar for download, it gives me this error message

"The selected application can not be loaded because it contains networking classes or packages that are not allowed"

I dunno what to do?

Quote from http://idenphones.motorola.com/iden/dev ... ls_jal.jsp:
Motorola Java Application Loader Lite (JAL Lite)

This application will allow you to download local (non-network) applications to your Motorola J2ME?-enabled phone. Please read the documentation under the help option to properly download the .JAR and .JAD files. The following requirements apply:

* Filenames are restricted to 16 characters
* Both the .JAD and .JAR file must reside in the same directory
* No application that performs network communications can be downloaded.
* Download latest JAL Lite Version 01.01.13 (3Mb)

For Hebrew i85s or i50sx, please download:

Version R01.00.01
AccuTracking is a network software therefore JAL lite can't do it.
Use JAL full version, or use a different loader. Search in http://nextel.harwardforums.com for other loaders. Or use Nextel MAM page to install.
