[10/01/2023] TK374/TK382 SIM Network Degradation/Outage

Post by ATSupport »

We were just notified by our SIM card carrier that there has been a network degradation/outage since about 8:32AM EDT.
This affected the TK374/TK382 users in certain areas with SIM ID starting with 8944****.

The tracker will store the data collected locally on the device when the network is not available
and will upload data when the network connection is recovered.

The SIM provider network engineers are working on the issue and this thread will be updated for the latest status.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

[Update 10:19am EDT]
The outage affects about 15% of the connections. Updates from the carrier:
15% drop in signalling traffic and have seen a corresponding 15% reduction in data sessions. Initial isolation is focusing around IPX interconnects and possible rerouting.
[Update 12:16pm EDT]
The network issue has been resolved. You tracker should be back online shortly after the vehicle starts moving. History data collected during the outage period will be re-uploaded by the tracker and you'll be able to view them on the history page. Thank you very much for your patience and please contact our support if there's any issue.
