i296 startup

I recently purchased a starter kit with an i296 phone. Is there a way to hide accutracking when powering up the phone? I tried password protection but that just comes up with a password box when that says "accutracking" when turning on the phone. I don't mind the program showing up under the apps menu but I wish it would not display itself during when the phone powers on.

From reading different post here in the forum, I think adding the motion sensor and choosing the i415 with the extended battery should yield me tons of time between charges?
