Best postion for phone

should the phone be placed upright, flat, face down, face up for best reception?

I guess, technically, flat, face down, and laying out in the open - but I think you will find out that for the most part its going to be all the same. It will work pretty good in any diretion - as long as the phone is not burried in an all metal area - or in a heavy electrical interference area...

After 2 years of working with the i415 phone we found that it works best when the screen is facing the sky.. never place the phone vertical.
