What version will work with I930?

Post by n8wb »

Granted, this phone has only been out since the 6th, but I am curious what version would work with the new I930? My phone is going to be delivered today and I would like to install the correct version.

Not tested but try the i730/i830 or i710 version. Note that you need to download the i930 specific JAL from Nextel if you are loading with a cable. MAM loading support may not work.

Has anyone had any luck with installing this on their 930? So far I haven't been able to get Accutracking to work.

I have it installed and working, just the program will not stay open. But that is yet another bug from Nextel, and Motorola. No java applications will stay open if put in the background and somethign else takes over the foreground. There is a Ticket in with Mapquest, Nextel, and Motorola about all the java apps closing like this.

I have it installed on my i930 and have no problems. Make sure you go into the Java control panel, select Accutracking, menu and scroll down to "App Auto Invocation". Make sure it's set to "Always". Now when you close the phone, the app will stay running.
