I830 problems

I have a i830 phone and am trying to download the software but I am getting the message failed download code:904. What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to do this without having to buy a cable. Any suggestions would be great.

First time hear 904 mismatch problem on i830 phones. What's your firmware version?

Do you mean the R2B.00.02? I am a little illiterate with this stuff?

The phone firmware version can be viewed as below:
From the idle screen, press #, *, ?Menu?, Right Arrow.
Scroll down to "Unit Info".
Press the key under 'View' or the 'OK' nav button, depending on phone model.
Scroll down to 'Software'.
Press the key under 'Select' or the 'OK' Nav button.
The software version is listed first and normally starts with 'R', followed by a string of alpha/digits in the Rxx.xx.xx format.

When I go to Nextel Application uplaod, I downloaded your software and saved it to my desktop. I unzipped the file and got the two file (JAD and JAR). I moved those two files to my desktop. It asked me for the two files on the Nextel website and I browsed and put the two that are on my desktop. Then it asks me for the version. Is this the version that is on one of the files that I unzipped. (eg. 2.01) or is this the phone version? Then it asks for the application name which I put Accutracking. Then it asks for the partner which I put accutracking.com. Then it asks for phone type and I put R2B.00.02. Is this right?

Try to check all R2B.XX.XX on Nextel MAM page. Or try other available versions. May get a match somewhere. If still no luck, cable installation?
