Update

Post by zardiw »

Well, I sent the phone back to AccuTracking and they checked it out and found nothing wrong with it, and sent it back.

So now I'm looking at 'Can't Connect'.

It was doing this every morning for awhile.

It's very disheartening to deal with this flakey crap.........

But that's the way it's been going, might as well entertain you all with my latest tribulations.

1. I go to the ER with ear pain. They diagnose infection. $200 worth of prescriptions...plus at least $100 ER fees...then I check with another doctor (specialist), cause it's not really getting better. It's really a fungus!!......Tells me to make my own eardrops with white vinegar and isopropyl 50/50 mix, apply twice a day. Cost: zippo.

2. I buy a stock 3 weeks ago (MRKL). It's at .016. and slowly goes down to .012 or so. I finally get tired of it and sell it. The NEXT day it goes to .018, and will prolly continue to run up Monday.

3. I sell my friends Virago on EBay. My friend wants a grand for it. I put a buy it now price of $1600, and somebody buys it!!!........he's coming out TODAY with CASH......He's got 180 ratings at 100%!!.......but then he decides to renege, cause I'm not a 'dealer'???.......So my friend sells me the bike, so now I"M the owner.......this one is still pending, but I've left 2 messages, and he's not answering his phone........z

F..k me!!!!!!!!...............lol.........z

Good News!!....It's working........sorta........last contact was over 6 hours ago, so either he's in a spot with no bars, or the battery's run down........:

OK, Panic has returned after 4 days!!!.........The phone naturally had shut down since the battery had run out.

I was HOPING the data points would all be there and would be transmitted once I had charged it up again, but the phone restarted and all data points were apparently LOST!!!............

It would be nice if the program were changed to transmit as soon as it could (had bars). if there were data points stored.

ALSO, the program should be changed to transmit stored data points on the set schedule, EVEN IF it couldn't get a current GPS fix, but was getting reception from towers................... This only makes sense.

Please let us know when the new release of the software is available!!!

SO bottom line is I'm going to make an external battery pack out of 2 2400 mah Li-Ions and try again.............................z

Thank you for the feedback. We'll look into this for the next version.

Ok, but do you think it'll outperform that pos i415 as far as tracking goes?.......z

yeah. oops.

and main advantage is the fact that it has a battery thats twice as big.
at 5 minute waypoints, it should give you 2-3 days worth at least.

plus the RF on it is alot better so it should be able to get a signal better then the tiny fixed antenna on the 415

Great Dog, I have a male with a similar habit, he can sniff a female in heat - 5 miles away. Sometimes he likes to run/bum with several other males with questionable heritage. Keep us informed.
