The one that came in my starter kit has broken apart at the plug into the phone....

recommendations on where to buy a new one? Boost's site has them for $24 + shipping....

either looking for one more expensive and better quality... or same quality and less than that.. because $25 for that cheap piece of crap is crazy

Well, if it broke apart under normal use within 15 days of purchase, we can do exchange. Please just email our support with your order info. You can also buy the car charger separately at our online store or try eBay.

I have had my what you call a "piece of crap" for almost a year now with no problems. For $25 you can buy 5 of them from AccuTracking.
