Can I install the premium without removing the free software from my phone.

Yes you can install both on the same phone. I think premium together will be launched soon this month.

I've downloaded the jar files, how do I get it on my "starter kit" phone?

If you have a boost phone:
you'll need an USB data cable and a Java loader program. Search this forum for more info.

If you have a regular phone:
Follow the steps on the support page to install via Nextel MAM page.
