TK104 AT&T requires password change... sends SMS!

I just activated my TK104 with an AT&T Prepaid account.
Now I'm trying to manage my AT&T account, check the balance, etc.
The default password for the account is the last 4 digits of the tracker's phone number, but as soon as I tried to use the password, ie: to login to AT&T's website 'account management' page, AT&T required me to change the password.
That's good, but they sent the new password out via SMS, to the tracking device, and there's no way to receive SMS from a third party phone number, unless I know that phone number!
If I knew the AT&T SMS phone number, I could use "forward the third party's message' to have the message forwarded to me, but I have no idea...
AT&T tech support says the only way to retrieve the password is to pull the SIM and put it into a phone that can receive SMS messages. Of course I don't have an AT&T phone that will take a GSM SIM card.
Anyone know the phone number that AT&T sends SMS messages out through?
Anyone know of an alternative to receiving my password-change SMS?
Thanks for any help - I'm stuck!
