TK104 Battery

I bought the TK104 because it said that it has a long battery life, but mine dies after only a couple of days. Is there something I need to change?

Try enable the sleep mode by sending the following text messages to the tracker:
sleep123456 off
less gprs123456 off

Ok so I did as you said but my battery is still only lasting for about 2 or 3 days. ANY ideas ?

I've reconfigured your tracker and let's see how it goes. Also a note that the tracker needs about a whole night to get fully recharged, so make sure you fully charge it every time.

Seems to be working good now :D ...it has been 4 days since you made changes and it says that the battery is still at 100%. :mrgreen:
Before the changes the battery was only lasting 3 days topps!!

I have purchased another TK104 tracker. I am having the same problem with it, the battery is only lasting about 3 days. Can you help me with this unit?

Very likely the battery depleted and you'll need to recharge it for at least 8 hours.

I thought sleep mode "on" helped battery life?? If it does not sleep won't it use up more battery?

You are right - having "sleep mode on" would help reduce battery usage a lot.

It is not from me not charging the battery...I do charge it over night.
