how can you tell if the gps tracking on the phone has been turned off?
if gps is turned off on phone, how else can you track?

I have an android and if the gps is turned off on the phone, how else can you track? are there any other way?

the tracking worked yesterday (10-1-2011). but this morning i have not been getting any alerts. can you tell if someone had turned of the gps on the phone? is there another way to track? I have an android! thank you!!

I would like to see something that will give an alert if the phone is either turned off or the gps is turned off. my kids knows that there is gps on the phone and i sometimes wonder if she turns off the gps because i will not be able to track her. so it would be nice to have that feature.

No, for no tracking there's no way to tell if GPS is off or it's caused by other reasons - battery dies, no cell signal, poor sky view etc.
