i wish that there was an option to delete the history of the one your tracking. it is nice that the history is stored for 30 days but i think it would be nice if there was an option, a button or a link that would allow you to completely delete the past history and start anew, without having to generate a new tracker id and input that into the AT program.
just a thought.

how about another
how about another idea, post it here or as another topic?
is there a way to slim down the info that is sent in the SMS messaging when your unit crosses a fence or exceeds a speed marker? i am currently getting enough info from the server in my text messages that i get 2 messages, the second message usually contains only about 5 numbers and thats all, i believe these numbers are the numbers left over from the long/lat position.
maybe its just the formatting? i can receive regular text messages from emails or cell phones that contain more data and it all shows up in one message? i will play with it, send myself some txt messages in varying formats to see where the fault lies. also note, i am using a Palm Treo 650, on the cingular/att network. maybe one of these is the culprit?
maybe its here already and i havent yet seen that one either?

I feel like your going out of your way for me... do you treat all your customers this way? cause that is awsome.
I have sent myself several text messages using my yahoo email account, in the text messages i have typed in the same message that i get from the server and from yahoo the message breaks into 2 separate messages. using my gmail account i get everything in 1 single message. using yahoo. if i break the message into 3 separate lines with a break following each period <.> things go smoothly and i get one single message.
i dont know if breaks are something easily added or removed. also, others may disagree with me but when i get a SMS message there is no link to the AT website, where it is included in the emails. so without a link that works in the SMS messaging to access the website from i feel (and this is probably where i am alone) i feel there is probably no need to include the coordinates in the SMS messages.
just my $0.02 worth.
