You can also check and make sure you have boost "time & minutes" via the boost web page.
If thats good - then you will need the phone in hand.

Re: Catching My girlfrind
Verizon does not allow GPS access to that phone right now, so no, it will not work.

Re: I425, and Accu tracking
I have a number of questions about the Motorola I425, and the Accu tracking software. 1) Is there a way to have the phone always answer, and go into speaker phone mode without touching the phone? No, why would you want this? 2) Is there a way to disable the volume buttons on the side of the phone? ...

Not really without him knowing.
Make it easier, and track his car - if he takes his car.
Then make him find better friends.

Re: USB power adapter cable which is +/- on the cable ?
If you want to go the cheap way like that, you will need a mobile car charger - one that converts 12V to the proper USB charging levels. So buy a car charger, and a either wire 12V to the end of the car charger, or get a female cig. lighter receptacle - to make it look neater - and wire a remote one...

Re: USB power adapter cable which is +/- on the cable ?
You can't do that. You will blow up the phone.
USB power is NOT 12V, so you can't cut the end off your home/wall charger like you indicate in your post.

Re: question...
Its not really "wrong software"; iDEN and the JAVA/J2ME applications are built for multiple units/phones - so yes, one version will work across many - unless its a phone that other special options/classes - most which have nothing to do with GPS - just in the way the software compiles. So ...

Re: false reports?
Also its hard to just "guess" ID numbers, since there is a check-sum needed.
You can try putting a new tracker ID into your phone - and see if that stops it.

Re: i425 going out of stock?
We have tested the i335 and have had no issues at all with them. They track great.
We still have i415 units in stock for tracking use - both new, and used. We like the i335 much better than the i425 anyway - I was never a fan of the i425.

Re: No satellites-no fix
The i425 can run into issues, when its always plugged into a charger, and if its stored inside - where GPS signal can not be located. It goes into a "deep canyon" search pattern, and never returns. The "fix" - is to remove the power from the charger, remove the battery, power it ...

Re: Obvious to the user that the phone is a tracking device?
No its not - when the phone boots up, its clearly visable - and any one or two keystrokes will turn it off.
Not something you want, if the person does not know they are being tracked.

Re: i425 Transmitter off?
It sounds like the phone is in "Airplane Mode"... You can turn the transmitter on/off in the setup menu of the phone... or try HOLDING THE POWER button down while it turns on/off. It should ask you to "allow transmissions".
