how does smart sending on G1 work? Does it force a ping every 30 minutes even if no movement is detected?

ok, i reinstalled again... not sure why it didn't work he 1st time. I did have to reboot after installing becase the g1 froze after the install was complete... i guess i didn't... How about a facebook app? Friends could "Find" the phone via facebook... The App would connect to accutracking for the location information... It might bring you guys lots of business...

I had a full battery while getting pings, however the web report says the battery is low... Is the battery signal icon on web report correct for the G1
