You can't turn the "chirp" off for the in-service tone. You would need to physically cut the speaker on the inside.

We always cut out the speakers to make it silent.

Are both, or at least 1, are checked - and that you have email/pager info in there.

I would go with the i415; its the cheapest unit - and offers one of the best reception. It also reports the data correctly with the API and software. Motion support; well there are pros to using it - even if you have it hardwired. You get clean boots, auto-resets, and some other features. It assists...

Under the hood works fine, and temp is usually not an issue.

I would place it inside of a protective case - such as a Pelican, to assist with moisture.

For starters; if this is a track only phone - you do NOT need, or want, the premium pre-paid, $30+ per month service... You should see something that should resemble this data on the right: Account Status: Opened Plan Type: Boost PAY as You Go & Web Language: English Home Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Bus...

If direct connect is not working either; then you might have an issue. Can you log in to http://www.boostmobile.com and put your info in? Does it show your account is active? Is there money left on it? Does it show full service and data available?

Direct connect is the Nextel phrase for the 2-way feature... Using the push-to-talk on the side of the phone.

And your prior comments about Boost and their customer support, I mean lack there of, are correcct... Can't blame the CSRs they get for $7 and hour and their lack of training...

I can only assume the rest of your Boost is working; ie phone and direct-connect.

If so; I bet you can use AccuTracking - try it out.

There are 2 different types of data - web data and packet data.

If your phone is working, one of the data's should be working also...

Are you getting any error messages? Do you get any data to AccuTracking web site? Are you able to get text messages? Do you have the built in web on the phone working?

Sorry; This service does not work with Verizon. It only works with Boost/Nextel in the USA.

Maybe its isolated to your area? Since you have no profile, state, city, or any other info - thats tough to say. Its not an AT issue - as I am tracking 15 units right now - and have been all day without a glitch. Did you try restarting the phone and application? Are you current on your AT account an...

It is an app. on the phone - it will be visible upon boot up - and will also show in the java apps as a suspended app.

We have had the best luck with the i415; they are getting very had to come by though - very sensitive - and they are also the cheapest.
