set the phone to turn accutracking on startup.

as long as you have constant power to it, it wont be a problem

i got the information by pulling off the battery door and looking. LOL.
its located directly to the left of the black boost logo that comes thru the door. little gold port.

during the install, watch it closely. it should install the jad you selected, followed by its associated jar file. the program will have a dialog box with a status bar filling up as the first part is loaded, then reset that status bar for the second part.

i use serial on my desktop. it may be slower, but its alot less buggy.

and when you're doing 20 units at once for a public safety customer, less buggy is good.

is there any java program running on the phone at all when you're trying to connect?
